On my way back to Australia I met with Rita Liew and Jason Yew at Singapore’s Changi Airport on 5th January. The main thrust of the meeting was to plan for a series of workshops in Singapore in March. Full details will be posted on the Encore website when they are finalised. I am looking forward to working closely with Rita in Singapore.
The photo shoot we did in Brisbane at the end of last year was a great success. Suellen, our graphic designer, is currently finalising our much anticipated Encore Music Education brochure which will feature a number of the photos that were taken.
Our first workshops for 2010 start on January 18th in Brisbane followed by three days in Sydney. It will be good to welcome Julie Randell who is coming all the way from Dubai to attend the Sydney workshops. Our thanks to Darren Huth at the Groove n Move School of Music (Coorparoo) and Gai Day at the Hills Music School for making their premises available for our workshop days.
